Celebrating!

It is now official!!! I've just signed a four book contract to continue my MULE HOLLOW SERIES with Love Inspired. I am so excited and feel blessed at the opportunity. These books will hit the bookshelves in 2009.

For 2008 I still have 2 books coming out so I hope you run right out and pick up copies and join in the fun. HER BABY DREAMS will be on the shelves across the country in April. It received 4 stars from Romantic Times magazine and also 4 stars from Cataromance.com This makes me smile--but my hope is that it makes YOU smile! As you know if you've read my bio at debraclopton.com making readers smile is my goal.

Don't you just love this sweet cover!!! I thought the art department did an outstanding job with this darling cover. HER BABY DREAMS has what I consider my most fun hero that I've ever created. Dan Dawson is a big ole flirt who wants to make you smile as much as I do...but he really wants to make my heroine Ashby Templeton smile. The only problem is she thinks he's just-- a "big ole flirt"--and that's the problem! :) Now, he's going to have to prove there's more to him than meets the eye.

I'm on deadline crunch right now with the first book in the new contract so I'll say goodnight. But please drop me a note I love hearing what you think!

HI "for his glory" I'm so glad you dropped by my blog and that you are enjoying my Mule Hollow series. You asked how I come up with my story ideas...well LOL I get them from all over the place. I'm always looking for a good idea and something different from my other books so it will remain interesting and hopefully keep my readers attention. But one little thing might spark my imagination for instance seeing the pumpkin throwing contest while I was on vaction last summer sparked an idea so I sat down and toyed with it until I made it fit my Mule Hollow series. You'll see that book in November of 09. Hope that helps! Keep writing and play with your ideas. You'll do great.

Hi Stephanie!
Of course I know who you are LOL. So glad to hear from you. I'm thrilled that you are enjoying the books. God has been wonderful and the series is doing great. Readers have truly embraced my wacky little town. I'm currently working on book 11 in the series and this book will be out in June of 09. I'm sorry it has taken me so long to get back to the blog. But--my son got married April 19 and I was also on a book deadline with book 10 so it was crazy around here and my blog and email suffered. Hope to hear from you again and that you are doing great. I ask about you and Connie when I see your dad or your mom :)

Thanks. I hope I do great...none of my books will probably ever get published, but...that's okay..I do it for the fun of it, anyway!
*smile*
Haha..."playing" is probably the most appropriate term for it.
I can't wait until next November, now!
